Your Brushing Technique May Be The Cause Of Receding Gums
Receding gums is a dental condition where gums pull away from the tooth. It can be a result of a gum disease or an imbalance structure of the teeth or trauma. But the major culprit to this condition is plaque and bacteria on it releases toxic that damages the gum tissues.
However, brushing technique can be a factor that gums may recede. Overaggressive brushing causes gums to recede due to toothbrush abrasion. In adequate brushing and flossing also allows asteria to stay in between the teeth and the gums.
Tooth sensitivity is often experience by people having a recede gums regardless of its cause. Teeth and gums becomes sensitive with hot and cold and even with spicy foods. When gums recede, gum tissues become expose thus resulting to sensitivity.
